Ten Reasons the World Would be a Better Place if Everyone Was a Quaker: I

Reason 1

You wouldn't see any lists like this.

That's because Quakers are pretty inclusive of other traditions. They tend to look for common ground rather than differences. They tend to focus on essentials rather than peripherals. So they wouldn't necessarily wish that everyone else was a Quaker.

I am a Quaker. The world would be less interesting if everyone was a Quaker. Quakers are not as good as we imagine.I don't think the world would be a better place if everyone were Quakers.
The world would grind to a halt because we take so long to make decisions.
They may be less wars not no wars because Quakers can be aggressive.

Good points. Maybe the world would be less interesting, but overall would be better off if Quaker values were adopted, or at least considered. And of course we (Quakers or any group) do not fully live up to our professed values. Your comment about the world grinding to a halt made me laugh, since I've sat in many Friends' meetings for business and know what you mean!
