George Fox University Theatre

This logo for the George Fox University theatre department uses hands to express the range of human emotion in theatre. The logo was used as the central element of the Theatre's home page navigation (since redesigned).

Darryl Brown: All work shown here (unless otherwise noted) is done by me. I'm a graphic designer and image maker (illustration and photography) living in Oregon. I am the art director at George Fox University and designer for Geez magazine. Unhappy with working for businesses I did not feel good about supporting, I quit a good design job to work in higher education. I gave up some income, but also traded a two-hour (round-trip) commute for a short bike ride to work every morning. More importantly, I do work I believe in.
